DIY: Popsicle Stick Phone Stand

Need a phone stand? Look no further and make one for yourself using popsicle craft sticks! Anyone can make this super cute phone rest in under 20 minutes; just follow these simple steps down below!

Step 1: Gather all supplies!

Step 2: Cut Craft Sticks into appropriate sizes to create the phone stand.

Refer to the image below to cut the craft sticks for each part of the phone stand.

Step 3: Glue together vertical supports for the phone stand

Grab 2 craft sticks that are not cut and the 2 inch cut craft stick and glue them together like in the image below!

Grab 3 inch cut craft stick and glue under the 2 inch piece of cut craft stick in the same manner!

Step 4: Glue together horizontal base of phone stand together!

Grab your 4.5 inch and 1.5 inch craft stick pieces to glue together at the end like in the images below!

Step 5: Glue together horizontal base and vertical base to create the phone stand body!

Make sure there is enough space for your phone to sit at the base of the phone stand at, where the 2 pieces meet! Glue together pieces so that there is more than a 90-degree angle created with both craft sticks at the base support.

Step 6: Glue together horizontal base at the ends of the craft sticks at the rear of the phone stand.

Use a clasp to keep the 2 craft sticks together while the hot glue bonds and dries to keep this shape!

Step 7: Add base

Glue 3 inch angled cut craft stick to the top of the horizontal base supports of the phone stand.

This will be where your phone sits on the phone stand!

Step 8: Decorate!

The structure of the phone stand is finished!

Have fun and decorate your phone stand at your discretion (just be careful to not obscure any parts of the phone stand that will interact with your phone!) using any kind of decorations you wish or just leave your phone stand plain and simple!

Go crazy and paint, place stickers on or even jewels like how we did with our own phone stand shown here!

You’re finished!
