EVENTS: National Women’s Health Week Fair

“YOU Matter”

On Thursday, May 12, 2022, BAZIC Products was invited to the Los Angeles School of Global Studies / Miguel Contreras Learning Complex to support their National Women’s Health Week Fair – located in the Quad Area from 11:30am – 1:00pm (322 S. Lucas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017).

There were nine community supporters, including us, offering support, information and resources about mental health to the four academies who came to this event: Los Angeles School of Global Studies, Academic Leadership Community, School of Business and Tourism, & School of Social Justice.

We brought some awesome swag and school supplies that the students can pick out and use for their classes. Our yellow buckets brought attention and curiosity to these students who walked by our booth. Many of them were very excited to get free items and left feeling great after choosing what they like.

While we were in the middle of cleaning up and tearing down our booth, one student came up to us and thanked us for coming as well as the things we did for this event. It was a heartwarming experience for the two BAZIC staff members who were at the event, but seeing all the students leave with delighted expression made us feel good about what we do. Truly an unforgettable event after hearing “thank you” from all these students.

We would like to thank the Los Angeles School of Global Studies for having us be part of this event! 😄 We are very thankful to the event team who helped us from the beginning and the end. We look forward to joining in on more school community events and helping out kids in need.
