EVENTS: Pasadena Chalk Festival
“The Pasadena Chalk Festival is back LIVE & IN-PERSON at The Paseo!”
Over Father’s Day weekend (June 18th & 19th, 2022), BAZIC Products hosted and sponsored the Children’s Art Area – BAZIC KIDZ LAND – at the 29th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival. Our BAZIC KIDZ LAND was located at the Upper Fountain Court at The Paseo (300 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91101) and took place from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
The Pasadena Chalk Festival was open to the public (10:00 am – 7:00 pm) and displayed 200 murals with over 500 artists participating. There was also an Art Gallery, Silent Auction, Animation Alley, Chalk of Fame, and Live Music.
It was hot and sunny over the weekend but that didn’t stop everyone from enjoying their time at the Chalk Festival. Our BAZIC KIDZ LAND feature 3 different crafts at our blue Arts & Crafts tables – Father’s Day Origami Shirt, Summer Popsicle Craft, and 2 Coloring Pages specially made for the event by a Veteran Chalk Artist. We laid out chalkboards for the kids to also experience the Chalk Festival, and a cornhole game for some more fun. With all of these activities, kids were able to get prizes after completing them and receiving stamps on their stamp card. We were thrilled to see how much fun everyone was having at our BAZIC KIDZ LAND.
Of course we didn’t forget the adults and parents at this event. Over at the front of our BAZIC KIDZ LAND, we had tables where everyone can select 3 items after signing up with us. Everyone was happy to be picking out our products from our yellow buckets and thanked us for giving so much back to the community.

We would like to thank the Pasadena Chalk Festival for having us! 😄 We are very thankful to the event team who helped us from the beginning and the end. The community was great as well that it made all the BAZIC Staff comfortable and happy to be at this event. We look forward to joining in on more community events and seeing more smiles!
