Paper Lantern DIY
Paper lanterns are a timeless and versatile decorative element that can instantly add charm and warmth to any space. Whether you’re planning a festive event, a cozy evening on your patio, or simply looking for a creative craft project, making your own paper lanterns can be a delightful and rewarding experience. In this DIY guide, we will take you through the step-by-step process of creating beautiful paper lanterns that will light up your life.

Materials you will need:
- Tracing Paper
- Jumbo Craft Sticks
- Adhesive
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Foam Board
- Precision Knife
- Markers / Coloring materials
- Stickers to decorate
Watch our step-by-step tutorial to create your Paper Lantern DIY:
Step 1: Gather materials
Step 2: Using the Tracing Paper, cut out (4) 4.5″ x 6″ rectangles
Step 3: Glue (2) Jumbo Craft Sticks to the ends of (1) tracing paper rectangle and repeat the process 3 more times

Step 4: Decorate!
Step 5: Take a 6×6″ Foam Board and create a 1cm border (using a ruler)
Step 6: Use a precision knife to cut (2) inserts on each side for the craft sticks
Step 7: Add glue to make it more stable
Step 8: Repeat for the other 3 sides and.. you’re done!
Step 9: Add LED lights to lighten up your Paper Lantern
