EVENTS: Los Angeles Times’ Festival of Books
We took took part in the Los Angeles Times’ annual Festival of Books, which is held on the USC campus. Even though it rained throughout the first day, we still had hundreds of people come by our booth to see what we had to offer!
We brought hundreds of products with us, from school and office supplies like pencils, notebooks and permanent markers, to art supplies like glitter, paint and sketchbooks! The kids and their parents love everything.
Of course, the highlight of our booth was that we had an arts and crafts table! Children (and quite a few adults) joined in to help paint wonderful works of art. We also made greeting cards, pencil holders and lots of other creative things. With our second day of the event taking place on National Sibling Day, we had lots of children making great things for their brothers and sisters.
We had a fantastic time and it definitely seemed like all those who stopped by did as well. We’ll deifnitely be returning to do the Festival of Books again next year.
